Scotland’s Collaborations With China In The Appliance of Science Can Only Be Beneficial

Many strong collaborations have already been developed between Scotland and China in the science industry. Having keen focus on high quality research and developing meaningful partnerships, both Scotland and China seek to enhance research through meaningful collaborations.

During a recent trip to China led by Royal ­Society of ­Edinburgh (RSE) president ­Professor Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell, Scottish representatives met with individuals from leading national academies and visited several research institutes. The trip aimed to identify how RSE could build on existing relationships and develop more research and innovative collaborations with China.
