Clacks biotech firm receives £400,000 Chinese food order

Clackmannanshire biotech firm Omega Diagnostics has secured a second order from its Chinese partner for 28,000 of its Food Detective test kits.

The £400,000 deal for the Alva-based company follows a previous order form the same partner for 20,000 last month. The latest consignment is expected to be delivered by early November and Omega’s Chinese partner plans to commercialise early in 2020.
